Benedict Farm Park, located the site of a former dairy farm, consists of 18 acres devoted to active recreation and 84 acres set aside for conservation and wildlife management.

Despite the development in the park, nice habitat remains for sparrows, flycatchers, Bobolinks, Tree Swallows, and Eastern Bluebirds; and the pond and the nearby Wallkill River attract waterfowl and shorebirds.
