There will be a pop-up field trip to the Black Dirt Region this Saturday, February 10. Meet in the parking lot of the former Jolly Onion Restaurant (Pine Island, New York) at 8:30 am. We’ll look for Rough-legged Hawks, Horned Larks, sparrows, geese, and so on.
On Saturday (February 3), we’ll be meeting at the Jones Beach Coast Guard Station at 9:30 am to look for wintering ducks, grebes, and loons.
Bring lunch and a beverage.
