Port Jervis, New York

This 307-acre area, which is under the stewardship of the Outdoor Club of Port Jervis, is in the far northwest corner of Orange County and neighbors the City of Port Jervis’s Elks Brox Memorial Park. Three roads enter the area—Box Baum Road from the north and Reservoir Road and Skyline Drive from the south. There are a number of parking areas, which are indicated on the map below (pdf map).

There are three reservoirs in the area: Deerpark Dam, Brewer’s Reservoir, and Mirror Lake. The first two are accessible by road, and Mirror Lake can be reached on foot via Brant Path. All three reservoirs are connected by the trail system.
